She Whispered “I Am the Storm!”

Have you ever dropped a piece of glass and watched it explode across the kitchen floor?

It flies into every corner, hiding in tiny cracks and under cabinets. You sweep, but never quite trust that you’ve found them all. Later, you step carefully, scanning the ground, because one sharp sliver can still cut deep.

That’s exactly what betrayal feels like.

When you discover your partner has cheated, lied, or broken trust, your whole world shatters. The pain hides in unexpected corners of your life—emotionally, physically, spiritually, financially—and can leave deep wounds that take time to heal.

You’re not crazy. You’re experiencing crazy-making—when the same person who hurts you is also the one you want to run to for comfort. It’s okay to love them and hate them at the same time.

This is betrayal trauma. It’s real. It’s painful. And it’s not your fault.

A Place to Heal Together

That’s why we’re hosting the Princess Warrior Retreat—a safe space for women to gather, share their stories, and begin the healing journey.

📍 Sandy Cove, Northeast, Maryland

📅 September 26–28

Betrayal affects every area of your life—your health, trust, relationships, work, family, and even your faith. But you are not alone. Together, we will survive. Together, we will heal.

Because even when glass shatters, light can still find a way to shine through. ✨

Dr. Steffens & Dr. Porter speak honestly about the need for a HEALTHY CHURCH!!

Let’s commit to creating faith spaces that heal rather than harm, and practice spiritual disciplines—like confessing—that restore both individuals and communities.

THERE’S STILL TIME TO REGISTER!

In every church community, individuals are silently suffering from the effects of trauma—be it from abuse, betrayal, grief, addiction, or life-altering experiences. Ministry leaders are often the first people these individuals turn to, yet many feel ill-equipped to respond effectively.

This online training is designed to equip pastors, ministry leaders, and lay leaders with foundational understanding and practical skills to serve as faith-based first responders—providing immediate spiritual & emotional support, while recognizing when to refer for professional care.
